Pauline Urquizo

Pauline (La Wera) Cavazos Urquizo, age 95, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  Mrs.  Urquizo was born on June 3, 1926 in Beeville, Texas to Luis and Tomasa Cavazos.  She was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Tynan, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; seven brothers; her husband, Eloy Urquizo Sr. of 56 years, her son, Eloy C. Urquizo Jr. and grandson, David L. Urquizo.

Survivors include her two sons, Reynaldo (Linda) Urquizo Sr. and Armando (Sandra) Urquizo both of Tynan, Texas; four sisters,  Lucia Cavazos of Mathis, Texas, Braulia Del Bosque and Leonor Garcia Both of Beeville, Texas, Maria Gutierrez of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchild, Reynaldo C. (Maricela) Urquizo Jr. and Jessica M. Urquizo.

Visitation will be at 4:00 pm and Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Dobie Funeral Home in Mathis, Texas.  Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Tynan, Texas. Interment will follow at Waldhiem Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Rey Urquizo Sr.,  Armando Urquizo, Rey Urquizo Jr., Israel Cavazos, Domingo Aguilar, Rey Trevino, Honorary Pallbearer is Jessica Marie Urquizo.
