Pedro O. Solis

Pedro O. Solis, 68, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home in Gregory, Texas. He was born July 2, 1945 in Gregory, Texas. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory where he served as an usher, St. Vincent De Paul, and Knights of Columbus. He was also the founder and manager of Conjunto Solis. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Rosalia Solis and brother Jose Solis. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Maria N. Solis; his children Rosalia (Johnny) Hernandez of Ingleside, TX, Javier (Adriene) Solis of Gregory, TX, Julie (Joe) Castillo of Ingleside, TX, Pedro (Lisa) Solis Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Alfonso (Sara) Solis of Gregory, TX, Lino v(Priscilla) Solis of Ingleside, TX, and Rita Solis of Gregory, TX; 20 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 1 brother Alfonso O. Solis Jr. of Gregory, TX; 5 sisters Elida (Raul) Cruz, Dora Hernandez, Alejandra Moreno, Guadalupe Lopez all of Gregory, TX, and Rita O. Solis of Corpus Christi, TX. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory. Burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
