Rafael G. Ornelas

Mr. Rafael G. Ornelas left this world to meet our Savior, at his residence on May 8, 2013 at the age of 78. He is presided in death by a younger sister, Estella Cruz Ornelas and his parents Jose and Celsa G. Ornelas all of Gregory. He worked for H.E.B. for several years and then Frost Brothers until his retirement. Ralfael was a very religious man and very proud of his shrine for the Virgen De Guadalupe. He is survived by an older sister, Magdalena (Jesus+) O. Garza of Corpus Christi; two nephews, Javier F. Garza of Corpus Christi and Jesse A. Garza Jr.; and one niece, Estella (Aaron) M. Boyes both of San Antonio; two great-grand nephews, Thomas (Lori) A. Dykes III of San Antonio and Bryan( Lauren) Hunter of Ohio and one great-niece, Heather (Raymond) M. Martinez of Corpus Christi; as well as several Great Great-nieces and nephews, Allison, Maggie, Alexandra & Thomas A.Dykes V all of San Antonio, and Kairi & Raymond IV of Corpus Christi. Rafael leaves behind many memories and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm - 9:00pm Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that same evening.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gregory.
Burial to follow at the Gregory Cemetery.
