Pena and his children Marisela (Tim) Russell, Ramiro (Meredith) Pena III, Orlando (Mallory) Pena, Adrian Pena, seven grandchildren, Jude Russell, Sadie Russell, Julia Russell, Molly Russell, Lily Mae Pena, Joseph Pena, Kingston Pena, his brother Rene (Norma) Pena and sister Ruby Pena.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro and Rosa Pena.
Ramiro retired after 38 years from Sherwin Alumina Company (formerly Reynolds Metals Company).
Ramiro has been a lifelong Parishioner of our Lady of Mt. Carmel. He was an altar boy in his youth.. He attended mass regularly and participated and served on the ACTS team.
Ramiro most enjoyed family weekends which were filled with laughter, food, fun and watching all kinds of sporting events.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. While he didn't like to gamble, he enjoyed trips to the casinos to take Adrian, his parents and Yoly. Ramiro cherished time spent with his grandchildren and attending their games and school functions.
Ramiro would help anyone in need. But his greatest gift was time spent traveling with his parents to places such as Niagara Falls, Opryland, Chimayo/Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Riverside Stadium, to Kentucky and Ohio and places in between to visit family and friends.
He was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and Mexico and visiting many beautiful shrines and basilicas along the way, and traveled to different states with his children, other relatives and friends.
Ramiro leaves behind many relatives and friends. A special thanks to all who have prayed for him on this journey.
