Raymond Villareal Jr.

Beloved father, husband, and friend to many. Raymond died at Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 28th, 2014. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 8th, 1971 to Raymond Villarreal Sr. and Maria Elena Avila. He graduated from Gregory –Portland High School in 1989. He then went to Del Mar College to receive an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Communication in 1994.

He married his high school sweet-heart Stefanie Kathleen Small in 1995. They had three children, Dakota Raye Villarreal 18, Micah Tristan Villarreal 16, and Charles Tyler Villarreal 16. The family lived in Aransas Pass, Texas, where Stefanie and Raymond bought their country dream home. Raymond worked at Sherwin Williams Refinery for eighteen years following in the footsteps of his father. He recently took a job at Wood Group working as a Mechanical Operator.

Raymond had many talents and hobbies. Most of which included cars, dirt bikes, and story-telling. Raymond knew all there was to know about cars and really any motorized vehicle, but truly one of his favorite past times activities was telling stories with close friends and family. Raymond was an amazing father and husband. He was a great provider for his family and a great friend.

He is survived by his wife Stefanie; sons Tristan and Tyler, and daughter Dakota; his mother Elena, two brothers Chris and Jason Villarreal; and sister Yvonne Ellison. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Villarreal Sr.
