Robert M. Dominguez

Robert, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away on November 6, 2024. 

He was born in Mathis on October 27, 1960 to Julian and Petra Dominguez. 

He was a graduate of Mathis High School. He loved to play golf and was an excellent pool player. Robert will be remembered for his huge heart and generosity. Robert was a hardworking individual who took pride in his job, he was dedicated to his family and friends. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and nephews. Many wonderful memories were made and will forever be cherished. We will truly miss Robert’s great sense of humor and being the life of the party. His spirit and love will truly live on in everyone's heart that he touched.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his father in law, Remigio Herrera, sister in law, Anita Martinez, brother, Ubaldo Dominguez, nephews, Jacob Rivera and Mario (Markie) Villarreal, brother in laws, Cecil Wright and Simon Campos.

Robert is survived by his wife, Adelaida; daughters, Donna Amador & Monica Dominguez; son, Robert (Jessica) Dominguez Jr. His legacy will continue through his grandchildren, CJ, Brandon, Brenda & Samantha Quilimaco, PJ, Patricio, Praxediz & Emmanuel Amador, Hailey, Kinley & Jacob Dominguez, one great granddaughter Aaliyah Bernal; sisters, Emery Wright & Josie Campos; brothers, Serafin (Tina) Sanchez, Richard (Marianna) Sanchez, Daniel (Phillis) Dominguez & Roy Dominguez; mother in law, Maria Herrera; sister in law, Rosa Herrera; brothers in law Remigio Jr (Isabel), Ramiro (Lizette), Ramon, Rey, Robert (Rosalinda), Rene (Melinna), & Richard (Audrey) Herrera.

Visitation will be at Winsteads' Funeral Home, 121 N Duval, Mathis, Tx on November 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm, Holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Health Church, 217 W San Patricio, Mathis, Tx on November 13, 2024 at 10:00 am followed by interment at Descanso Eterno II.
