Robert Garcia-Martinez

Robert Garcia-Martinez, son of Erick and Felicia Martinez of Corpus Christi,  received his angel wings on Friday May 16, 2014. He was 18 months old. During his brief stay on earth, Robert touched the lives of everyone that came in contact with him. His beautiful smile and his "Hi's" were contagious and will never be forgotten by those who heard them. 

He is survived by his maternal grandparents Barry and Lee Ola Albrecht of Portland, his paternal grandparents Jose Licurgo Martinez of Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico and Elizabeth de Jesus Cantu of Ft. Worth, his aunt and uncle Tripp and Brandey Batey of Corpus Christi,  Josefina Elizabeth Martinez (Pina) and Michael Olivares of Ft. Worth,  his uncle Jose Hugo Martinez of Ft. Worth and numerous close friends of the family.  

Rosary will be held at Limbaugh Funeral Home on Friday May 23, 2014 at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church on Saturday May 24, 2014 at 10:00am in Portland. Interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations with 100% of the money collected going to The Ark Assessment & Emergency Shelter for Youth in Robert's name.
