Rogelio F. Cruz

Rogelio Flores Cruz, 49, of Gregory, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 20, 1974, in Gregory, Texas. Rogelio will be remembered as a caring, supportive father and a loving friend. 

Rogelio leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. Rogelio is survived by his former wife, Jessica Cruz and current spouse Maria Alma Rodriguez; his three children, Izaac Jace Cruz - spouse Courtney Cheyenne Cruz, Bryanna Cyleste Gamez - spouse Jordan Anthony Gamez and RJ Rogelio Rene Cruz Jr; his three grandchildren, Braelynn Rose Cruz, Amari Lawrence Gamez and Travis Jace Cruz. 

He was a devoted father. His warm smile and joyful personality brought happiness to everyone he met. Rogelio had a special talent for making people laugh and had a nickname for his closest friends and family. He was loved by many. Rogelio will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, forever cherished for his kindness, love and the happiness he brought to those around him.

Visitation to honor Rogelio’s life will be held from 9AM-12:00 PM, Friday, November 3, 2023, with the Funeral Services to begin at 12:00 PM at Winsteads’ Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest.
