Ronald Edward Rittenhouse, a beloved figure known for his kindness and welcoming spirit, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Mathis, Texas. He was born on May 29, 1942, in Macomb, Illinois to Cecil and Beulah Rittenhouse. Ronald dedicated much of his life to a successful career in the Air Conditioning and Heating industry, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

A proud veteran, Ronald served in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and patriotism. His time in service left a lasting impression on his life and enriched the stories he would share with family and friends. Ronald was well-known for his great sense of humor, often making those around him feel at ease, and he had a unique ability to light up a room with his presence.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Rittenhouse, with whom he shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. He also leaves behind his cherished daughter, Christine J. Owen, and his beloved grandchildren, Courtney Laturno and David Owens. Ronald's legacy will be deeply felt by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him, including his dear friend Marilyn "Punky" Litchfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Beulah Rittenhouse, and his sister, Betty Pearce. Ronald's warmth and humor will be remembered fondly, and his impact on the lives of others will be lasting.
