Ruben S. Medrano Sr. departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1943 in Mathis, Texas to Erlindo and Maria Baldome (Sanchez) Medrano. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; one Son in law, Rosendo H. Gonzalez; 3 Brothers, Francisco Sanchez, Alfredo Medrano, Jose Medrano; 4 Sisters, Anita M. Resio, Odilia M. Sandoval, Maria M. Deleon, Dominga M. Almeida; and two Grandchildren

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 60 years Guadalupe R. Medrano; 3 Daughters, Rosalinda (Clemente) Padron, Maria Delia Medrano-Gonzalez, Delma (Rito) Acuna; 6 Sons, Reynaldo (Ernestina) Medrano, Roberto (Diana) Medrano, Rene (Oneida) Medrano, Ramiro (Cynthia) Medrano, Ruben (Josette) Medrano Jr., Randy (Roxanne) Medrano; 3 Sisters, Amelia M. Marin, Erlinda M. (Francisco) Solis, Juanita M. (Ruben Sr.) Estrada, 27 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Pall Bearers: Rey Medrano Jr., Roberto Jaime Medrano, Clemente Padron Jr., Leroy Lucas Medrano, Gabriel Ruben Medrano, and Brandon Michael Medrano.

Honorary Pall Bearers: Isaiah Demitri Acuna, and Rafael Maximo Medrano.

Public Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Dobie Funeral Home; Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church followed by interment to Cenizo Hill Cemetery.

Facial Coverings are mandated in both Dobie Funeral Home and Sacred Heart Church per Governor Abbott.
