Sergio Tadeo Gomez Jr.

Sergio T. Gomez, Jr., 43, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. He was born June 11, 1973 in Brownsville, Texas but grew up in Portland, Texas and graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1994. He had worked for the Bayview Behavioral Hospital as a support nurse.

He is survived by his parents, Sergio & Hilda Gomez of Portland, TX; two brothers John (Dacia) Gomez of New Orleans, LA and Leo Gomez of Portland, TX; two nephews and one niece.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens.
