Susan Martin

A memorial for Susan M. Martin, 66, of Mathis, Texas, will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 3-5 pm at Dobie Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin passed away on August 31, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born in Bullard, Texas on June 8, 1955 to Edgar and Ethal (Louise) Clark. Mrs. Martin loved working with her colleagues and students at Mathis Intermediate School and was just an overall helpful, loving, and genuine person whom will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her Parents, Edgar Shiver Clark and Ethal (Louise) Clark. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dennis Martin; her step-daughters, Javann Dotson, and Denise (Eddie) Martinez; her siblings, sister, Liz Clark McDaniel; her two brothers, Eddie (Alice) Clark and John Clark; four Grandchildren, Katelyn Simoes, Kyle Simoes, Matthew (Amy) Martinez, and Isla Martinez. Mrs. Martin is also survived by various nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
