Wanda Fay Henrichson

Wanda Fay Henrichson was born to Woody and Marlene Schumacher on March 28, 1958 in Mathis, Texas.  Wanda was many things but above all she was a mother, daughter, sister, NaNa, and friend.  She was a graduate of Mathis High School, achieved her certification in Cosmetology and later retired as a Jim Wells County Clerk for Pct 3.  She is survived by her mother, Marlene Schumacher.  Two brothers: Kenneth Schumacher of Rosharon, Texas, Kevin Schumacher (Debbie) of Plainfield, Illinois. One sister, Wendy McCown (Mike) of San Marcos, Texas.  Her Husband, of forty-three years: Dryee Henrichson. Five children: Amanda Perez of Rockport, Texas, Shane Henrichson (Rene) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ashleigh Henrichson (Mark) of Orange grove, Texas, Amber Morris (Brian) of Sandia, Texas and Alison Escalante (Juan) of Orange Grove, Texas.  Two honorary sons: Gilbert Perez, and Justin Doss, and her sixteen grandchildren: Amber, Serenity, Phill, Kian, Devan, Elizabeth, Syvannah, Averie, Gannon, Dykotah, Greyson, Bransyn, Avery, Makenna, Paysleigh, and Everleigh.  She is preceded in death by her father: Woody Shumacher. 

Wanda was a beautiful, kindhearted, intelligent woman who read and lived by his word every day.  She is deeply loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be at 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm on Friday, June, 9, 2023 at Dobie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Dobie Funeral Home followed by interment at Sandia Cemetery.
