Wanda Ellen Willey, age 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family on Monday evening December 20th, 2021. Wanda was influenced by her family and was the most generous, caring and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Mamaw, and Gigi. She always gave her time to others, never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with the same kind of love. Wanda had 2 children 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 4 stepchildren 11 step grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
She loved her family more than anything in the world. Her favorite times were when she was with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a love for fishing, crafts and making jewelry and anything that involved her family. Wanda had the most contagious laugh. Even in the worst of times, she could find a way to bring joy and happiness to those around her.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Leslie Willey. Son, Tommy Reese and his wife Tammy. Her daughter, Alta Earls and her husband Tim. Stepson's Leslie Willey Jr, Scott Willey, John Willey, Stacey Medders and her husband Stacey, Grandsons Anthony, Tyler and Richard. Granddaughters Ashley and her husband Caleb, Chasity and her husband Zach, 6 great granddaughters, Brooklynn, Braelynn, Kaylyn, Kinzley, Hadleigh and Elley, and great grandson Hagan. 6 step granddaughters Wendy, Hailey, Kathy, Tricia, Becca, Beth and Cheryl. 4 step grandsons Leslie III, John Scott, Zack, Quinton, John and Wesley and multiple step great grandchildren.1 sister Cinda Jo Tripp and 1 brother James Eldon Hardy.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Eldon Ralph Hardy and Helen Naomi Hardy, 2 sisters Gwen Harris and Karen Terry. 1 stepdaughter, Cindy Willey, granddaughter, Lindsey and 2 great grandsons.
Wanda did not wish to have a burial or funeral service. She wanted to be remembered by her family and friends as the loving wonderful woman we all knew her by. Please remember the good times and the laughs. Let's all celebrate her life as she'd want us to do and carry on her smile and laugh as she would do.
We know we can't keep you on this earth forever. We are happy to know you are no longer in pain and are with the Angels in heaven shining down on us and wrapping us in her forever love.
